Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in Dublin (Ireland) seeks a Director of IT Core Infrastructure to lead a global team responsible for core networks, cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and end-user devices across platforms.

You will translate enterprise strategy into multi-year roadmaps, drive automation and software‑defined operations, and partner with security and enterprise IT to deliver reliable, scalable services.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in infrastructure engineering or related tech disciplines.
• 5+ years managing managers and large global teams.
• Broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure with deep domain expertise.
• Proven ability to lead large scale, business-critical environments.
• Experience transforming organizations and operating models.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience building multi-year strategies and roadmaps.
• Strong financial and vendor management acumen.
• Ability to translate complex tech into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Core Infrastructure organization across multiple teams, setting priorities and accountable for outcomes.
• Ensure service performance including availability, reliability, security, resilience, and user experience.
• Develop a multi-year Core Infrastructure roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Drive automation, software defined and self-service infrastructure.
• Partner with Security and other tech teams to deliver integrated solutions.
