Job summary

PlayStation Global in Ireland seeks an experienced Platform Hosting Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement and manage security controls across AWS/GCP multi-cloud environments. You will automate security processes, contribute to DevSecOps, and mentor peers.

You will collaborate with product and platform teams to define requirements, drive secure by design initiatives, and uphold industry standards such as NIST/PCI DSS while delivering secure cloud services for PlayStation infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in cloud security or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or GCP.
• Familiarity with NIST or PCI DSS compliance concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and Go.
• Experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• CI/CD and DevOps tooling like GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement security controls for PlayStation infrastructure.
• Detect security gaps and mature tooling and operational processes.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to define requirements and build cloud security apps.
• Automate security processes to integrate with builds and deployments (DevSecOps).
• Develop automation to audit and secure multi-cloud environments.
• Promote security tooling to improve platform availability.
• Document security designs and policies; mentor engineers.
