Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in Ireland is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to shape the technical approach for employee technology support, moving from reactive responses toward predictive detection and safe self‑healing. You will craft cross‑platform architectures, patterns, and guidance with engineering, security, and platform partners.

You will lead architecture decisions for integrations with ServiceNow, Moveworks, Jira, Slack, and more, and mentor engineers while guiding the employee

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering enterprise integrations across multiple teams and platforms.
• Proven ability to guide solutions from concept to production operation.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, scripting or software engineering, security, reliability, and operational design.
• Ability to explain tradeoffs clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience defining reference architectures across multi‑platform engineering without direct line management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery for cross‑platform employee technology opportunities and define target architectures and options.
• Design the flow from signals through detection, diagnosis, remediation, escalation, and outcome recording.
• Set reusable standards for APIs, identity, data handling, observability, testing, rollback, and ownership.
• Assess build versus buy options and emerging AI capabilities against value, feasibility, security, and supportability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the employee technology roadmap.
