Promptly Recruitment in Ireland is hiring to lead a new direct-to-consumer insurance line for one of Ireland's largest motor finance providers. You will own the insurance product from start to launch and manage its P&L.

The role requires shaping strategy, evaluating underwriting options, building business cases, coordinating with insurers and vendors, and ensuring regulatory compliance including IDR. Hybrid, permanent, full-time with a €65,000 base and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Launching consumer products into a regulated market.
• Direct ownership of a product P&L and business cases.
• Experience presenting to senior executives and obtaining approvals.
• Knowledge of insurance intermediary operations and IDR requirements.
• PCF-17 eligibility or ability to obtain it.
• Commitment to continuing CPD and fitness & probity standards.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the insurance product strategy aligned with growth goals.
• Assess underwriting models and select the optimal go-to-market route.
• Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch with internal and external partners.
• Own product performance and ensure profitability of the P&L.
• Build and champion business cases through management approval.
• Research customer needs, market trends and regulatory risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including IDR.
• Collaborate across operations, sales, pricing, IT and change management.
• Create product documentation, FAQs and sales resources.
