Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with an established financial services organisation in Ireland to appoint an experienced Insurance Product Manager. This role focuses on developing and launching a new insurance proposition from early-stage concept through to commercial launch and ongoing performance management.

You will work across Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Technology, Change and Compliance to shape the proposition, customer experience and governance framework.

Qualifications

• At least four years' experience within the insurance industry.
• Experience developing, launching or materially enhancing a consumer insurance product.
• Strong knowledge of insurance product development and distribution.
• Experience working across commercial, operational, regulatory and customer considerations.
• Strong commercial understanding, including business cases, product economics and P&L performance.
• Knowledge of the Consumer Protection Code, Insurance Distribution Regulations and governance requirements.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate insurance requirements to non-insurance audiences.
• Customer-focused, commercially creative and delivery-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the insurance product strategy.
• Lead the product lifecycle from proposition development through to launch.
• Conduct market and customer analysis to identify needs, trends and opportunities.
• Shape product features, customer journeys and service requirements.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver the proposition.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Monitor product performance, including revenue, conversion, retention and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to improve the proposition and customer experience.
• Ensure the product operates within relevant regulatory and governance requirements.
