Job summary

Software Placements seeks a seasoned Digital Design Verification Manager to lead the verification of complex ASIC/SoC designs. The role is based onsite in Ireland (Limerick or Cork) with a minimum of three days per week on site.

You will drive verification strategy, manage a cross-functional team, and ensure coverage-driven verification meets tape-out readiness. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering with HW/SW verification, is proficient in SystemVerilog/UVM, constrained-random

Qualifications

• PhD or degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years managing digital design verification teams.
• 10+ years in engineering with HW/SW verification flows.
• Strong experience with SystemVerilog/UVM and coverage-driven verification.

Responsibilities

• Define verification strategy, plans, milestones.
• Lead and mentor verification engineers across projects.
• Oversee testbench development and ensure coverage goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (RTL, firmware, emulation).
• Track progress, risks, and formal/informal verification activities.
• Promote automation and reusable verification environments.
