Job summary

Primark Newbridge depot is seeking an IT Support Colleague to provide on-site technical support across the depot, maintaining infrastructure, networks and hardware.

You will handle first-line support, network checks, hardware troubleshooting and ticket management, liaising with suppliers, and managing WMS access. The role requires a proactive approach and comfort in a fast-paced logistics setting. Full-time, Saturday shifts, 6am–10pm window, interview discussions will confirm exact pattern.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced depot environment.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, cabling).
• Experience troubleshooting Windows devices and end-user hardware.
• Familiarity with Android-based Zebra devices.
• Strong problem-solving and ticket-management abilities.
• Understanding of warehouse/distribution centre operations.
• Knowledge of WMS/WCS systems and reporting tools.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support and escalate issues as needed.
• Check and report network connectivity and assist in incident resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software and document escalation details.
• Manage and track support tickets with timely updates.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
• Administer user access in WMS systems per security policies.
• Perform basic repairs on depot IT equipment (kiosks, end-user devices).
• Carry out routine checks of servers and network equipment.
• Act as on-site IT contact to keep depot technology running smoothly.
