WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE?

The Customer Account Manager will be part of the commercial team, responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth for a wide range of brands with key retailers in the Irish market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key retailers, driving distribution, revenue, and market share for iconic brands. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, results driven, will excel in strategic account management and possess strong negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and executing annual market planning strategies that deliver measurable business results.
  • Deliver targets to achieve share of range, space and distribution both for the retailer JBP and Field Sales execution.
  • Utilise trade investment efficiently through effective negotiation and developing a suitable promotional strategy that drives Net Revenue and GP.
  • Forecasting is a primary responsibility and accurate volume forecasting on rolling basis is essential.
  • Management responsibility for direct reports, which will involve coaching & development, setting overall direction, day-to-day management of tasks and completion of people processes.
  • Serve as the market and channel expert, ensuring optimal product availability, compliance, forecasting accuracy, and positive mix while driving volume and value growth across the portfolio.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and competitive insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present detailed performance reports on account activities, sales metrics, and market conditions to key stakeholders.
  • You will develop customised solutions for your customers by listening and understanding their strategy and ambition and placing emphasis on this in your customer plans and JBP focus.
  • You will manage and develop cross-functional relationships both internally and externally: Customer Profitability, Shopper Marketing, Customer Insights, Supply, Marketing, Finance & Credit Control in principle and customer.

  • Proven ability in Analysis & Decision Making to swiftly identify issues and opportunities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & succeed under pressure.
Minimum 5 Years Of Proven Experience In Account Management

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field is desirable.
