Amicus Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a National Account Manager with a leading FMCG Multinational .Why this company? It’s the brands ; the autonomy you will be given but most importantly people in the in Business- although my client are part of a massive FMCG organisation , the Irish Business is relative small and they can draw on resources whilst also having a lot of freedom to make their own decisions.
I had a really good meeting with Stephen the Country Manager - Stephen has been with the Business for over 10 years – He is a massive sell to the role Their offices are based in South Dublin and the you will be expected to be in the office for 3-4 days a week. – Stephen said- “Denis, whilst some of our sister companies are struggling with the threat of private label we are the opposite ! and in the last 2 years we have experienced phenomenal growth- we have some of best in class activations and partnerships in place ( i.e we have a collaborative partnership with the GAA for example) but there is still a lot of white space with our customers and we can never rest on our laurels.”
The office culture has definitely contributed to our success and Finance, supply chain, marketing are constantly asking questions of each other- as you know some of the team have been with us a long time and I am extremely proud of my team – indeed being in the office saves time and not having a lot of Teams calls ! yes there is some flex there too. I personally give the team a lot of autonomy and the exciting element is the resources we can draw on from global, the success we have obtained and partnerships we have in place. Also just to note Targets are fair and attainable and full bonuses have been paid out. I really enjoy it here as I see a pathway for career progression and there is consistent NPD and I am always learning- and I like to see team challenge me and challenge thinking.
this is a gem of an opportunity and for this role, you must have domestic FMCG Account management experience- ideally with one of the Retailers- and be eligible to work in Ireland.
