Qualifications

• Experience interpreting toxicological data and preparing chemical profiles.
• Ability to conduct safety assessments for cosmetics.
• Knowledge of EU cosmetics regulation and safety guidance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety assessments of cosmetic ingredients and finished products.
• Provide safety guidance throughout development of new products.
• Review raw materials against safety, policy and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare Cosmetic Product Safety Reports per Product Information File requirements.
• Carry out ingredient risk and exposure assessments and source toxicity data.
• Review safety testing results across cosmetic product types.
• Support causality assessments relating to undesirable product effects.
• Contribute to wider product safety initiatives and meet deadlines.
