Job summary

Cpl's client, a global leader in adhesive technologies and industrial chemicals, seeks a Process Safety Engineer for their Dublin site. You will drive PSM programs, lead risk assessments and support scale-up and new product introductions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role reports into the EHS Director and requires a Chemical Engineering or Process Safety background with 3+ years in process safety. on-site Dublin 24 position with career development and competitive package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' Process Safety experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of process safety principles and risk management.
• Experience in HAZOP, PHA, FMEA, ATEX or similar studies.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain site Process Safety Management (PSM) programmes.
• Coordinate Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP and risk assessments.
• Drive process safety improvements across operations and projects.
• Support new product introductions, scale-up and tech transfers.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety reviews for modifications.
• Assist in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain explosion protection documentation and hazardous area classifications.
• Provide guidance on chemical process safety and control measures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality and R&D teams.
• Deliver safety training and raise site-wide process safety awareness.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency while maintaining safety.
