doTERRA Global Limited in Ireland is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to support and promote a safe, healthy and compliant working environment across the manufacturing facility. You will align with Irish health and safety legislation and company standards while working with management and staff to identify and reduce workplace risks.

The role focuses on proactive safety culture, providing expert guidance, leading risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Relevant health & safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a health & safety role in manufacturing/engineering/operations.
• Knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and codes of practice.
• Experience delivering health and safety training.
• Ability to influence managers and employees and drive improvements.

Responsabilités

• Health & Safety Management System – maintain and improve the site's system with policies, risk assessments, training, inspections and audits.
• Legal compliance – advise on Irish health and safety legislation and company requirements.
• Risk management – lead risk assessment programme and implement controls.
• Safety Statement – maintain and communicate policies and procedures.
• Workplace inspections and audits – conduct inspections and close corrective actions.
• Incident and accident management – investigate, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Safety culture and employee engagement – promote proactive safety and deliver safety communications.
• Safety training – manage induction, refresher and role-specific training.
• Emergency preparedness and fire safety – coordinate drills and response teams.
• Contractor safety – manage contractor safety programme and pre-qualification.
• Manufacturing and equipment safety – integrate H&S into equipment/process changes.
• Safety data sheets and chemical safety – maintain SDS and communicate risks.
• Safety performance and reporting – provide regular safety metrics and actions.
• Cross-functional collaboration – work with safety teams and management groups.
• Continuous improvement – lead initiatives to improve H&S processes and systems.
