Job summary

Pharmalliance Consulting Ltd. is seeking a part‑time Quality Specialist for remote work based in Ireland. You will review ingredient lists and labels against EU cosmetics regulation (EC No 1223/2009) and support the development of compliant product portfolios.

The role involves drafting documents, maintaining QMS records, and collaborating with senior consultants. The ideal candidate has a science degree, strong regulatory interest, excellent English, and experience with Excel/SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Degree in a science discipline (chemistry, cosmetic science, pharmaceutical science or biology)
• Strong attention to detail when checking ingredient lists, labels and data
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Interest in EU cosmetics regulation
• Clear written and spoken English
• Ability to meet deadlines in a part‑time schedule
• Awareness of cosmetic GMP ISO 22716
• Familiarity with INCI naming
• Placement, internship or project experience in cosmetics/regulatory setting
• Experience with SharePoint or document control systems

Responsibilities

• Support clients to build and maintain compliant product portfolios
• Review product ingredients and formulations against EU cosmetics requirements (Reg 1223/2009)
• Support clients in building validated Cosmetic QMS
• Check product labels and documents for accuracy across the portfolio
• Organise compliance records and track statuses and gaps
• Draft, format and control documents in Cosmetic QMS systems
• Track client actions and deadlines and maintain records
• Support client reports, presentations and training materials
