A leading global technology firm in Cork is seeking an STA Engineer to perform static timing analysis and optimize the timing performance of ASIC products. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of expertise in STA tools and strong proficiency in automation. You will collaborate across teams to ensure timing closure and validate models, contributing to cutting-edge product development. This role requires full-time onsite work, offering competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications
4+ years of related work experience.
Experience in static timing analysis on gate‑level PNR netlists.
Knowledge of automation for timing and power data mining.
Responsibilities
Performing static timing analysis for complex cores and full‑chip SOCs.
Driving accuracy of timing closure and static/dynamic flows.
Participating in project proposal development including key milestones.
Skills
Expertise in STA tools (PrimeTime, PrimeShield or Tempus)
Hands‑on experience with Tweaker, PrimeClosure, PTECO, or Tempus ECO
Highly proficient in automation: Python, TCL or Perl
Strong knowledge of ASIC design flows (RTL‑to‑GDS)
Excellent problem‑solving skills
Good communication skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field
