GlobeTech in Cork, Ireland is seeking a Localisation QA Engineer to ensure quality across software products for global markets. You will work with cross-functional teams to validate linguistic and functional aspects of consumer electronics and software.

Qualifications

• Native speaker of the language with deep linguistic knowledge.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and team player.
• Self-driven with flexibility to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Enjoy breaking software to improve quality.
• Experience in software localisation/internationalisation.

Responsibilities

• Perform localisation testing on software, print documents, help and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools with relevant information and follow-up.
• Analyse international functionality issues.
• Work cross-functionally with QA centers, engineering, translators and project managers.
• Carry out other duties relevant to the role.
• Design, implement and organise manual test plans.
• Create, maintain and run automated test procedures.
• Code software test automation in languages like Swift, Objective-C, Python and Ruby.
