GlobeTech is seeking a Localisation QA Engineer to join our Cork, Ireland team. You will ensure the quality of software products across languages, collaborating with international QA centers, engineers, translators, and project managers.

Qualifications

• Native speaker with deep linguistics knowledge.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in software localisation/internationalisation.

Responsibilities

• Perform localisation testing on software, print documents, help and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools with relevant information and suggestions and follow the solution process to its completion.
• Analyse international functionality issues.
• Work cross-functional with international software QA centers, engineering teams, translators and project managers to ensure delivery of world-class products to international markets.
• Carry out other duties relevant to the role.
• Design, implement and organise manual test plans.
• Create, maintain and carry out automated test procedures.
• Code software test automation in Swift, ObjC, Python and Ruby or other languages as required.
• Carry out technical software reviews to assess automation opportunities.
