Job summary

GlobeTech in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Localisation QA Engineer to ensure quality across software products for a native language. You will collaborate with QA centers, engineers, translators and PMs, and contribute to automated testing initiatives in a dynamic, global team.

The role offers a 6-month contract with potential extension, relocation support, and onsite work in Cork. A strong linguistic background and passion for breaking software to improve it are ideal.

Qualifications

• Native speaker required with deep knowledge of linguistics.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in software localisation/internationalisation.

Responsibilities

• Perform localisation testing on software, print documents, help and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools with pertinent information and follow the solution process.
• Analyse international functionality issues.
• Work cross-functionally with QA centers, engineering teams, translators and project managers.
• Design, implement and organise manual test plans.
• Create and carry out automated test procedures.
• Code automation in Swift, ObjC, Python and Ruby as required.
• Carry out technical software reviews to assess automation opportunities.
