Job summary

GlobeTech, a global software localisation specialist in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Localisation QA Engineer to ensure quality across consumer electronics software products. The role is onsite in Cork, with relocation support and full onboarding for Ireland.

You will collaborate with international QA centres, engineers, translators and PMs to deliver world-class products for international markets, and you may extend the contract based on performance and project needs.

Qualifications

• Native speaker of the required language with deep knowledge of linguistics.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a team player.
• Experience in software localisation/internationalisation.

Responsibilities

• Perform localisation testing on software, print documents, help and hardware items.
• Reporting issues using internal tools with pertinent information and suggestions, and following the solution process to its completion.
• Analysing international functionality issues across products and platforms.
• Working cross-functional with international software QA centers, engineering teams, translators and project managers to ensure delivery of world-class products to international markets.
• Any other duties relevant to the role.
