ICON Accounting is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive contractor client growth from its Swords base. You will be the initial contact for contractors starting out, moving contracts, or switching providers, guiding them through to signup.

The role emphasizes responsiveness, clear communication, and building strong referral networks with agencies and partners to grow the contractor client base.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record in a target-driven sales or business development role.
• Confident with high-volume telephone engagement.
• Able to learn technical material (contractor tax structures) and explain clearly.
• Strong written communication and email etiquette.
• Well organized with the ability to manage a busy pipeline.
• Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
• Qualification in Business, Marketing or Finance is welcome but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Respond promptly to inbound contractor enquiries and conduct consultation calls on contract structures, tax and compliance.
• Convert enquiries into signed-up clients and ensure a smooth handover to onboarding and advisory teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other referral partners.
• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline and report on activity and results weekly.
• Provide structured feedback on market trends, competitor activity and pricing from contractors and partners.
• Represent ICON Accounting professionally at partner meetings and industry events.
