Job summary

Glanua is seeking a procurement support professional to aid the purchasing function within the Glanua Industrial business in Ireland. You will assist in requisitions, PO creation, and supplier communications to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for construction sites.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of procurement experience and a related degree; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is required, with SAP knowledge beneficial for supplier performance tracking and compliance.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain support preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel); ERP/procurement software experience required; SAP beneficial.

Responsibilities

Support the purchasing function within Glanua Industrial business.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders.
Assist construction sites with procurement of materials and services.
Maintain procurement records to support P2P within projects (POs, goods receipts, invoicing issues).
Communicate with vendors for product information, price, availability and delivery times.
Review and compare prices, specs and delivery dates to determine best bids.
Support contract management and supplier performance tracking.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and purchasing procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure supply levels and vendor compliance.
Monitor and update procurement databases, vendor information, and catalogues.
