Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our growing team in Ireland. This role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and the ability to work as part of a team while engaging with suppliers and sub-contractors during procurement and delivery.

You will contribute to site activities, ensure HSQE standards, develop design drawings, use GPS/Total Station/CAD for setting out, and prepare monthly progress reports. A driving licence is necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
• Degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards on-site.
• Be familiar with the HSQE management system and statutory requirements.
• Provide coverage for the project manager and manage day-to-day site operations.
• Review and develop specifications and drawings; develop design solutions.
• Use GPS, Total Station and 3D scanner for setting out and As Built data.
• Prepare technical reports, safety files and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet specified requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site staff and stakeholders.
• Lead and participate in weekly site meetings and CPD activities.
