Job summary

Errigal invites applications for a Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Team. You will build strong relationships with strategic suppliers to meet cost, quality and delivery targets while collaborating with project managers and site teams.

About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
• Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Place orders in line with company processes and ensure deliveries are booked in with site teams in line with the site logistics arrangements.
• Ensuring the ‘on-hold’ process is adhered to and all queries & disputes are dealt with in a timely manner for your allocated suppliers.
• Ensure Goods Received Notes are received for your allocated jobs and entered into the system in a timely manner.
• Identify long lead items in conjunction with sites teams to ensure orders are placed far enough in advance to allow works to happen as scheduled.
• Weighing up quotations from potential suppliers.
• Negotiating prices.
• Reviewing what goods, services and equipment are needed and planning future stock levels.
• Researching and identifying new products and suppliers.
• Analyse spending trends on your allocated jobs.
• Assist the Procurement Manager as and when required.
