Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Conference & Banqueting Porter in Cork. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to build essential hospitality skills and be part of a friendly, growing team.

Reporting to the Conference & Banqueting Manager, you will ensure high standards in C&B and F&B areas, promote guest services, and contribute to a smooth operation in a fast-paced hotel environment. Previous hotel experience is welcomed but not essential.

Qualifications

Experience working with customers.
Excellent command of the English language.
Excellent organisational skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Be a strong team player.
Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star property is desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

Offer the highest level of guest service in Conference & Banqueting and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring standards are met.
Work as part of a team, be aware of colleagues’ needs, and be flexible with hours.
Promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
Ensure C&B areas follow safe practices and address spills promptly.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of department SOPs, especially room setups.
