Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Meeting & Events Porter to join our hospitality team. You will deliver exceptional guest service across Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage areas while upholding our standards of service and safety.

You’ll work closely with colleagues, adapt to changing shifts, and seize opportunities to promote sales within the department and across the hotel as part of a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in hospitality.
• Experience working with customers.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service in all Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring that the agreed-upon standards are consistently met.
• Collaborate effectively as part of the team, being mindful of colleagues' needs and demonstrating flexibility with working hours.
• Actively promote sales within the department and throughout the hotel.
• Maintain safe working practices in the Meetings & Events areas, promptly addressing any spillages or safety hazards.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the department's standard operating procedures, especially regarding room setups.
