Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) is seeking Healthcare Assistants (Personal Assistants) to support members across Co.Donegal, including Donegal Town and surrounding areas. Roles are offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with weekday shifts and every second weekend.

You will assist with personal care, domestic tasks, and social activities in members' homes and communities. Ideal candidates will hold QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent, possess a valid driver's licence, and have

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent in Social Care is essential.
• Full clean drivers' licence is essential.
• Kind and caring attitude is essential.
• Use of your own smartphone to check in/out of visits is essential.

Responsibilities

• Enable members to achieve maximum independence in daily living by assisting with personal care, domestic, social and educational support, travel and companionship.
• This role takes place in the homes and communities of our members.
• Coordinate with other home support staff and liaise with the Assisted Living Service Coordinator and Scheduling staff.
