Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to support clients in Dunboyne and surrounding communities. Full-time and part-time roles available.

You will provide personal and practical care, assist with daily living activities, and promote independence while adhering to care plans. A QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, plus a valid Moving & Handling certificate, are required.

Qualifications

• Two QQI Level 5 modules required: Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available).
• International Police Clearance where applicable; driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Supporting client independence and social engagement.
• Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management per procedures.
