Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is seeking Health Care Assistants to support clients across Dublin South West (CHO7). Roles available are full-time and part-time, with flexible hours and a supportive team.

A valid QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, plus Moving & Handling certification, are required. Responsibilities include personal care, promoting independence, and maintaining dignity while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills; Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available if required).
• International Police Clearance, where applicable.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport desirable due to community-based role.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Supporting client independence and social engagement.
• Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management in line with company procedures.
