Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is recruiting Health Care Assistants to support clients in Dunboyne and surrounding areas. Positions available in full-time and part-time schedules, offering a pay rate of €15–€17 per hour, flexible hours, and a paid induction with ongoing training.

Applicants must have eligibility to work in Ireland, a valid driving licence, and access to reliable transport for community-based work. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and supports client independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills; Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available if required).
• International Police Clearance, where applicable.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport desirable due to community-based role.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Supporting client independence and social engagement.
• Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management in line with company procedures.
