Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is recruiting Health Care Assistants for full-time and part-time roles to support clients across Dublin South West (CHO7) and CHO6. The role involves providing personal and practical care, helping clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

Applicants should have QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, plus Moving & Handling certification. Driving licence and transport are desirable; a paid induction and ongoing training are

Qualifications

• Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills, Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate.
• International Police Clearance, where applicable.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Supporting client independence and social engagement.
• Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management in line with company procedures.
