Job summary

Right at Home (Ireland) is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Co Louth, including Oldcastle/Dromone and surrounding areas. Roles are available as full-time and part-time with flexible working arrangements and comprehensive training.

Ideal candidates may be starting qualifications or experienced carers, with QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person. Police clearance where applicable is required.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 modules required or currently studying towards them.
• People Moving and Handling certificate not required at application stage; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and practical care per each client’s care plan.
• Support independence and community engagement for clients.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals and light chores.
• Offer companionship and social support.
• Respect client dignity, privacy and preferences; follow care plans.
• Report concerns or changes to management and follow procedures.
