Job summary

Team Horizon is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance across major industrial scaffolding projects. You will drive cost control, contract success and growth while supporting teams, clients and developing your career.

The role requires significant Quantity Surveying experience, with a focus on managing large-scale contracts, strong negotiation skills and a track record of improving financial performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related field.
• Professional accreditation (RICS, SCSI or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in industrial services, construction, engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
• Experience managing large-scale contracts.
• Strong contract administration and commercial negotiation skills.

What you will be doing:

• The Commercial Manager has overall responsibility for the commercial management and financial performance of industrial services projects and contracts.
• The role ensures robust cost control, contract administration, risk management and commercial governance across multiple projects while supporting profitable growth and protecting the company's commercial interests.
• The position acts as a key business partner to operational leadership, clients and senior management, providing commercial insight and strategic support to maximise contract performance and margin delivery, and commercial leadership across the division, ensuring that projects are delivered profitably while supporting operational teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

What you need to apply:

• Significant Quantity Surveying experience within industrial services, construction, engineering, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience managing large-scale contracts and complex commercial arrangements.

• Experience leading commercial teams and mentoring developing surveyors.
• Proven track record of improving financial and commercial performance.
• Qualifications and Experience Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline. Professional accreditation (RICS, SCSI or equivalent) desirable.
