Job summary

The role requires a degree in QS/related field, 7+ years’ construction experience and a strong main contractor background. You will oversee budgets, procurement, contracts, variations and final accounts while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
• 7+ years' construction experience.
• Strong main contractor background.
• Proven experience in commercial management of construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
• Experience with procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills.

About Your New Job / Role

As Commercial Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
