Job summary

Abrivia Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Personal Lines Broker to join a Drogheda-based insurance brokerage. You will manage renewals, amendments, and new business, advising clients throughout the insurance lifecycle and building strong relationships with clients and providers.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years in Personal Lines, CIP qualification or progress towards it, and experience with Relay software.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in Personal Lines or General Insurance.
• CIP qualified or currently working towards the qualification.
• Strong Personal Lines product knowledge with a client-focused approach.
• Relay insurance software is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management ability.
• Proficient IT skills including Excel, Word and report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients across existing business, renewals and new business.
• Handle mid-term adjustments, policy amendments and client queries.
• Review renewal terms, policy wordings and endorsements for appropriate cover.
• Compare available options and provide suitable coverage recommendations.
• Negotiate with insurers for competitive terms and solutions for clients.
• Take ownership of client cases from enquiry to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.

Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Personal Lines Broker to join our client, an established insurance brokerage based in Drogheda. This role will involve managing both existing and new business across Personal Lines, providing clients with advice and support throughout the insurance lifecycle.

The successful candidate will manage renewals, policy amendments and new business while building strong relationships with clients and insurance providers. Your Role

• Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients across existing business, renewals and new business.
• Handle mid-term adjustments, policy amendments and general client queries.
• Review renewal terms, policy wordings and endorsements to ensure appropriate cover is in place.
• Compare available insurance options and provide clients with suitable coverage recommendations.

Your Skills

• Previous experience within Personal Lines or a similar General Insurance environment, ideally with 2–3 years' relevant experience.
• CIP qualified or currently working towards the qualification.
• Strong Personal Lines product knowledge with a client-focused approach.
• Experience using Relay insurance software is required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management ability.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and report preparation.
