Job summary

ICDS Group is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead all commercial functions across project lifecycles from its Head Office with national coverage. You will drive budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting while negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

The role also requires monitoring cash flow, valuations, invoicing, and project profitability, identifying risks and opportunities, and guiding a QS/Estimating team across locations.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or proven civil engineering, construction, electrical, power engineering or relates experience.
• Commercial management expertise within civil, construction, infrastructure, ICT, or power related projects.
• Minimum of 7 year’s experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of power generation, infrastructure solutions; in-depth experience not essential.

Head Office based, with national coverage, initially overseeing commercial delivery of new build infrastructure (various sectors). With promotional prospects to manage other business units within this large and progressive contractor.

You will lead all commercial functions across project lifecycles, ensuring strong financial performance, contract compliance, and effective cost control, while providing commercial guidance to senior leadership and motivating a team of QS and Estimating staff in various locations.
