Job summary

Sanderson seeks an experienced Head of Learning & Development to lead the organisation's learning, leadership and capability agenda in Ireland. You will partner with the CHRO to shape enterprise-wide capability, leadership effectiveness and succession planning, driving strategic oversight of programmes and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in HR, Learning & Development, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification in Learning & Development, Coaching or Organisational Development desirable.
• Significant experience leading a Learning & Development, Talent Development or Organisational Development function.
• Proven experience designing and implementing organisation-wide learning strategies.
• Strong leadership development and organisational capability expertise.
• Experience managing digital learning platforms and learning technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience within a regulated sector would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation's Learning & Development strategy.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
• Design and deliver leadership, management and professional development programmes.
• Lead succession planning and organisational capability initiatives.
• Drive innovation in learning approaches, digital learning and learning technologies.
• Oversee learning governance, compliance and mandatory learning requirements.
• Manage learning platforms, external partners and associated budgets.
• Measure learning effectiveness and business impact through meaningful reporting and insights.
• Support organisational change, transformation and culture initiatives.
• Lead and develop the Learning & Development team.
