Castleknock Golf Club in Dublin 15 is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes while leading your section during service.

You will manage stock, uphold HACCP standards, train junior staff, and contribute ideas for seasonal menus. The role offers meals on duty, golf rounds for family, and a supportive team in a vibrant club setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis Chef seeking to advance.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong teamwork and ability to support and collaborate with other chefs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes.
• Manage your section effectively, ensuring all dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
• Ensure consistency in food preparation by following recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in creating new menu items and contribute ideas for seasonal changes.
• Oversee stock levels in your section, including daily checks and ordering.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment per hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Support other sections during service to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and ensure procedures are followed.
• Monitor ingredient quality to meet club standards before use.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparations for events and functions.
