Job summary

The Quays Bar and Restaurant in Galway City Centre is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will own a specific section, ensuring dishes are prepared to a high standard, while maintaining food safety and hygiene, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef during busy service.

The role requires 3+ years' experience as Chef de Partie, strong food hygiene knowledge, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for great cooking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Chef de Partie essential.
• Knowledge of and ability to maintain food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to support Sous Chef and Head Chef during busy service.
• Demonstrated passion for cooking and food preparation.
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a specific section of the kitchen and ensure dishes are prepared to a high standard.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene practices across the section.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef during busy service.
• Contribute to quality control and efficient kitchen production.
