Job summary

Jacksons Hotel & Leisure Centre, part of the Gallen Hospitality group in Ballybofey, invites a Chef de Partie to join its bustling hotel kitchen. You will own a kitchen section, prepare and present dishes to a high standard, and work closely with the Head Chef to maintain hygiene and culinary excellence.

You will mentor junior kitchen staff, contribute to menu development, and help ensure smooth service during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare and present dishes to high standards of quality, flavour, and visual appeal.
• Ability to take ownership of a specific kitchen section.
• Knowledge and adherence to stringent hygiene and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard.
• Take responsibility for your designated section of the kitchen.
• Assist with menu preparation and daily service.
• Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
• Help ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
• Support and mentor junior members of the kitchen team when required.
