Job summary

Jacksons Hotel & Leisure Centre, part of the Gallen Hospitality group in Ballybofey, invites a Chef de Partie to join its bustling hotel kitchen. You will own a kitchen section, prepare and present dishes to a high standard, and work closely with the Head Chef to maintain hygiene and culinary excellence.

You will mentor junior kitchen staff, contribute to menu development, and help ensure smooth service during peak periods.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be instrumental in crafting and delivering outstanding menu offerings, taking ownership of a specific kitchen section. You will expertly prepare and present dishes, ensuring every plate meets our exacting standards of quality, flavour, and visual appeal. Collaborating closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will contribute to innovative menu development, uphold stringent hygiene and safety protocols, and actively mentor our talented junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of culinary excellence and growth.

About The Role

As Chef De Partie, You Will

• Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard.

• Has previous experience in a professional kitchen environment.

• Is organised, reliable and able to work under pressure.

• Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.

Relevant culinary qualifications are an advantage, but practical experience and the right attitude are equally important.
