Job summary

Depaul is recruiting in Cork, Ireland for a full-time role within a multi-disciplinary team. The position runs 35 hours over 7 days on a fixed-term 12-month contract with the potential for permanency. The annual salary is €39,872.09.

The role focuses on harm minimisation, safeguarding, and empowering residents to manage their lives while delivering practical care and collaborating with external agencies.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ paid experience in a social care field (essential).
• Social Studies / Case Management accredited qualification.
• Experience with residents experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV).

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support (food, laundry, bedding) while maintaining a safe, high-standard environment.
• Provide key working, record progress, advocate for residents, and update line manager.
• Refer service users to appropriate agencies and liaise with external agencies and health boards.
