Job summary

Depaul is seeking a Case Worker for West Cork Services in Cork, Ireland. A 12-month fixed-term contract with full-time hours (35 per week) including weekends, reporting to local management. The role offers a structured environment within a values-led charity focused on ending homelessness.

Salary is €39,872.09 per annum. The post requires 2 years’ paid social care experience and a relevant qualification, plus core skills in risk assessment, harm reduction, and working with complex needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years paid experience in a social care setting (essential).
• Social Studies / Case Management qualification (essential).
• Good working knowledge of risk assessment processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical needs support (food, laundry, bedding) in a safe, high-standard service.
• Assess service users' needs and refer to appropriate agencies.
• Provide key-working to residents, record progress and advocate for them.
