Job summary

UPMC Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny seeks an Access to Care Advisor to manage patient admissions across Radiology, process referrals, and coordinate with the claims team to ensure timely sign-offs. You will handle multiple systems and maintain excellent service to patients and staff.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build relationships.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.
• Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Access to Care functions efficiently across the hospital.
• Admit patients in Radiology and manage related paperwork.
• Handle cash and end-of-day balancing accurately.
• Coordinate with Claims team to chase sign-offs and post forms.
• Manage referrals via Healthlink, email and post; ensure vetting is complete.
