Job summary

Great National South Court Hotel in Limerick is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. You will prepare and serve breakfast dishes to our buffet standards and support the head chef with daily specials, while ensuring HACCP procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience required.
• Able to work on your own initiative.
• Own transport required for early starts.

Responsibilities

• The preparation and service of dishes according to the required standards on our breakfast buffet.
• Ensuring that the food that is produced is consistently meeting such standards.
• To assist head chef in creating daily specials.
• Monitoring food stocks and ensuring that stock is constantly rotated.
• Following all procedures and guidelines as stipulated by HACCP.
• To work within a team and show respect to all colleagues at all time.
• Ensuring that your work is section is cleaned down during and after service.
• Minimizing food waste and ensuring that any food waste is disposed of correctly.
