Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited is hiring an Incident Management Engineer to own bilingual incident response for critical workloads. You will lead communications, engage technical teams, and drive resolution under high-pressure conditions.

The role requires fluency in Spanish, strong technical support background, and 3+ years in Major Incident/Problem Management for mission-critical systems. A Bachelor's in CS or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Drive incident resolution for large-scale customer-impacting incidents as part of a rotation
• Lead critical escalations with cross-functional teams including Engineering
• Provide incident management and crisis communications to customers during high-severity events
• Create and maintain runbooks and post-incident documentation
• Mentor peers in technical and operational strengths
• Collaborate with AWS stakeholders to improve customer experience and ops excellence
• Lead projects to drive operational improvements
