Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) invites applicants for Incident Management Engineer roles within the ASPIRE organization. You will provide incident response, account ownership, and executive-level communication during critical outages, working across AWS teams to resolve issues and protect customer workloads.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to operate across tactical and strategic horizons in a follow-the-sun environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or 6+ years of relevant work experience).
• 3+ years of Major Incident/Problem Manager experience for mission-critical apps.
• 5+ years in Support Engineering, Network Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar IT role.

Responsibilities

• Drive resolution of large-scale customer-impacting incidents as part of a team rotation.
• Lead critical, complex customer escalations in collaboration with Engineering Teams.
