Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Ireland is seeking a Bartender to deliver friendly service, upsell beverages, and greet regular guests by name, with training through Dalata Academy. The role supports internal growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a hotel setting preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Experience in busy food & beverage operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and ensure courteous service.
• Know the menu, beverages, and wine; make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable.
