Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Galway is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant for breakfast mid-week to join a friendly hotel team. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy to build essential service skills and product knowledge, with opportunities to develop within the company.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you’ll greet guests by name, upsell where appropriate, and contribute to a smooth, high-quality breakfast service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills are required.
• Previous hospitality experience is essential.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment preferred.
• Hotel experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are greeted by name and provided friendly service.
• Maintain good knowledge of food and wine and offer recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue where possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverage.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:

What You'll Need:

• Previous experienceis essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
