Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. You will contribute to a warm, guest‑focused service, drawing on prior hospitality experience and strong English communication skills.

Training through the Dalata Academy will support your growth, with opportunities to upsell, engage with guests, and work across a high-volume hotel environment. You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, and benefit from staff meals, employee rates, and

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is essential.
• Flexible with mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• MICROS experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve regular guests by name to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain good knowledge of food and wine and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue where possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages in a timely manner.

Food & Beverage Assistant

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.

What You’ll Need:
