Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver welcoming service to hotel guests. You will be trained through the Dalata Academy and report to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager.

The role requires previous bar experience, flexible hours including mornings, evenings and weekends, and fluent English. Benefits include staff meals, room discounts, pension access, and development opportunities.

Food & Beverage Assistant

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need

• Previous Bar experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
