Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is looking for a Bartender to join our team in Ireland. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills and grow within the company.

We encourage internal progression and a friendly team environment where hard work can lead to future opportunities. You’ll greet regular guests by name, promote food and beverage offerings, and focus on friendly, courteous, and professional service while upselling to maximise revenue.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
